The special lecture about “Cool Japan” was given by a professional designer.
It was an eye opening lecture which tried to find out what Cool Japan is through multifaceted analysys.
Our students analyzed that cool Japan is formed not only by traditional Japanese culture and history
but also by “robot culture” such as “Astro Boy”, “Mobile Suit Gundam” and
“Neon Genesis Evangelion” and other upcoming popular animation directors’ works.
Enjoying rich material from the lecturer, the student learned various things naturally and had a meaningful time.
