Message

Stepping into the 21st century, this world is greatly going to be unified politically and economically, although facing against poverty and wars. While the role of Japan in the world is becoming bigger than before, Meros is always making effort for the students to overcome the differences between different cultures and understand each other by offering various opportunities of communication. At Meros, well-educated and experienced teachers lead the students under the various curriculums depending on their needs like daily conversation, preparation for entering an university or a vocational school, Japanese cultures, and so on. Furthermore, Meros also has educational programs to help students to get used to Japanese society and habits in order to effectively accomplish their each purposes.

Background

Oct. 1984
Meros Language School was founded on the 20th floor in the Sunshine Building with only students from Taiwan in the beginning.

Apr. 1986
Meros was admitted by the Ministry of Justice, as the school which can be the agent for the applications. Meros moved to 3-7-1, Higashi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-Ku, having new students from more countries, like China, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and so on.
　
Oct. 2003
Meros tied up with Qing Tao Foreign Affairs College (Qing Tao, China), and founded Japanese Language Course for entering Meros.
　
Jan. 2004
Meros moved to its own building, 2-45-7, Higashi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-Ku.
　
May 2004
Meros Language School in Cambodia was founded in Phnom Penh.
　
Jan. 2006
Meros Language School in Laos was founded in Vientiane. Language School in concert with Meros in Indonesia was founded in Jakarta.
